The Lakers veteran is entering his 22nd NBA season after making his debut in the 2023/04 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He joined as the No. 1 pick, has broken almost every record, and has won four NBA titles. Many consider him the GOAT.

What does Bronny earn in NBA?

The 6-foot-2 guard finds himself in an almost perfect situation. Playing alongside his dad will give him valuable knowledge as he navigates the league.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Bronny signed a four-year $7.9 million (Ksh1 billion) contract, with $5.4 million guaranteed.

According to ESPN, Bronny's will be spread out as follows: $1,157,143 in 2024/25, $1,955,377 in 2025/26, $2,296,271 in 2026/27, and $2,486,955 for a team option in 2027/28.

Second-rounders always earn significantly less than their first-round counterparts. A rookie wage scale sees players at the top of the draft earn more than those in the latter rounds, per Sporting News. This scale applies only to the first-round picks.

What did LeBron James earn as a rookie?

The 39-year-old signed a four-year $18.8 million rookie contract with the Cavaliers in 2003 after he was selected first overall in the 2003 NBA Draft.

According to Sporting News, the four-time NBA champion has signed 10 NBA contracts.

In July, he signed a two-year, $104 million max contract with the Lakers, meaning he will earn at least $50 million in the next two seasons.

In total, the four-time NBA MVP has earned $479.5 million in his career on the court, but that figure will reach the $500mil mark soon.

"I am a Laker and I'm happy and been very happy being a Laker the last six years and hopefully it stays that way," James said on his Lakers future per ESPN.

LeBron declares himself NBA GOAT

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the NBA GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James continues to dominate barbershop discussions.

After the Los Angeles Lakers veteran broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's career scoring record, he declared himself the GOAT of the NBA.

Still, some fans dispute that for various reasons, mainly statistical, but the debate is always subjective.
