District Srinagar Cycling Championship concludes - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 28: The District Srinagar Cycling Association organised the Cycling Championship on Saturday at Duck Park, open to all age groups.

A statement said that in the Senior Men Road Cycling category, Adil Altaf secured first place, with Bahjat Nawaz and Ali Reshi finishing second and third, respectively. In the Junior Boys Road Cycling category, Amaan Kalla, Adeel Badami, and Mohd Mursaleen, all from Kashmir Harward, claimed the top three positions.

   

In the Senior Men MTB category, Shoaib Shabir of Legend School took first place, followed by Faizan Manzoor and Saqib Latief. In the Junior Boys MTB category, Atif Fayaz, Fariq Rafiq, and Mubashir earned the top three spots. In the Youth Boys category, Shoaib Tariq, Arhaam Khan, and Mohammad Ibrahim finished in the top three.

In the Women’s Road Cycling category, Yumnna Parveez took first place, Farah Ahmad finished second, and Aisha Mushtaq came in third. In the Veteran category, Faheem Ali Punjabi secured first place, Dr. Sheikh Tariq finished second, and Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat took third.

The championship was held under the supervision of the J&K Cycling Association and the J&K State Sports Council. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Vice President of JKCA and the event’s chief guest, distributed prizes and certificates to the winners.
