Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was happy after his team's impressive 4-1 comeback victory against Espanyol in their LaLiga clash on Saturday. Despite going behind due to an unfortunate error from goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Madrid displayed remarkable resilience to turn the game around and secure a dominant win.

Ancelotti was full of praise for his side's composure and attacking prowess. Goals from Dani Carvajal, Rodrygo, Vincius Jr., and star signing Kylian Mbappé sealed the victory, erasing Courtois's early second-half own goal.

"We did well, with combinations inside, even if it didn't all work out. We always kept trying," Ancelotti said in the post-match press conference. "In the second half, with the game open, it's a context that suits us. Tonight was rock & roll. We started well and reacted even better after going 0-1 down. It was a complete performance."

Ancelotti highlighted the team's improved rhythm and chance creation, contrasting it with previous matches where they struggled to build momentum. "We played better than in other matches, with more rhythm and generating more chances. Our defensive recovery was solid, and we pressed well after losing possession. Bit by bit, we are getting back to our best. I am happy with the dynamic we showed today."

Real Madrid's unbeaten run in LaLiga, which now stretches to 38 games, continues to demonstrate their consistency. Ancelotti acknowledged that despite injuries and dips in form for some key players, the team is still finding ways to secure crucial victories.

"We have now gone 38 games unbeaten, and that shows we are doing things very well," he added. However, Ancelotti also noted a concern about the team's slow starts. "This season, we have only scored one goal in the first half. I spoke to the players about it before the match to see if we could change that, but it didn't happen. Still, we played with more intensity today."

Looking ahead, Ancelotti and his team will host Alavés on Tuesday before turning their attention to the highly anticipated Madrid derby against Atlético Madrid next weekend.

With Real Madrid finding their rhythm and key players returning from injury, Ancelotti will be hoping his team can maintain their unbeaten streak and continue their march toward L
