The Spaniard had earlier said he had "all the information" after their epic 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.

Arteta's remarks seemed to have struck a nerve. Guardiola was livid and asked his former colleague to clarify them.

"Next time he has to be more clear exactly what does it mean," said Guardiola via Manchester Evening News. "He said he was here four years and we know exactly what happened here."

The Arsenal vs. Man City clash had plenty of drama, but one talking point dominated discussions online. The Gunners were accused of employing the "dark arts."

Arteta's response to Guardiola

Man City striker Erling Haaland had some words for Arsenal players and Arteta after the match, spicing the rivalry even more. Arteta was diplomatic when asked to clarify his comments.

"I can repeat it very clear, I love Pep, I've admired him since I was 10-years-old," Arteta said via Football London. "I worked with them for four years and when I said that I know them, I meant I know how hard they work."
"I haven't seen a human being work as hard as Pep and the coaches and everybody in that football club. This is exactly what I've learned and what I mean so it cannot be anymore clear than that."

Arteta and Arsenal have battled for the Premier League title with Man City for the last two seasons but have fallen short.

Last season, the Gunners slipped up in April, allowing Guardiola's side to cruise to their fourth straight league title, a historic achievement. Arsenal lost the title by two points.

Guardiola declares war on Arsenal

Legit.ng earlier reported that Man City coach Guardiola declared war on Arsenal while responding to Gabriel's comment.

The former Barcelona boss said it will be a war if Arsenal wants a war and will be looking forward to their next meeting.
