Lotto bosses issue appeal after Irish player wins €2,000 per month for five years in Halloween draw

The search is on to find Ireland's latest Lotto winner after one lucky punter bagged a life-changing prize in Thursday's special EuroDreams draw.

A EuroDreams player in Dublin got the ultimate Halloween treat thanks to the special Halloween draw held last night, which GUARANTEED that one player in Ireland would win €2,000 per month for five years.

Out of all the 42,000 Irish winners in Thursday's draw, one of them was randomly selected to receive €2,000 per month for five years - equivalent to the Tier 2 prize for matching all six main numbers without the Dream Number.

The winning EuroDreams numbers in the Thursday, October 31 draw were: 01, 06, 08, 09, 29, 30 and the Dream number was 4. The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Tesco, Rathfarnham Shopping Centre, Butterfield Avenue, Dublin 14.

Tesco Store Manager, Gary O’Regan, was thrilled to hear the news: “Receiving a call from the National Lottery bright and early on a Friday morning was an unexpected surprise. We were over the moon to hear that one of our customers has won €2,000 per month for the next five years.

The National Lottery is urging players who may have purchased their tickets at Tesco in Rathfarnham Shopping Centre, Butterfield Avenue, Dublin 14 to carefully check their tickets.

The winning ticket, which is worth a total of €120,000, has been placed on hold and when the winner scans their ticket on the National Lottery App or in-store on a National Lottery terminal, they will receive a prompt to make contact with the National Lottery.

National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said: “What a thrilling Halloween surprise for one of our EuroDream’s players! They’ve just become the fourth Tier 2 prize winner in Ireland, securing an incredible €2,000 per month for the next 5 years from Thursday night’s draw! The October 31st draw was our third Tier 2 promotion of the year, ensuring at least one player in Ireland would win this fantastic prize.”

“We are urging all our players who may have purchased their tickets on the day of the draw at Tesco, Rathfarnham Shopping Centre to carefully check their tickets today. The winning ticket has been placed on hold and the winner will receive a message to contact the National Lottery when they scan their ticket.”
