Pádraig Harrington took home a huge cheque for his performance at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth on Sunday.

The three-time major winner carded back-to-back Bogey free rounds over the weekend to record his best finish on the DP World Tour for two seasons.

That performance left him in a tie for 12th on 12-under. For his performance, Harrington took home a massive pay-cheque worth a staggering €122,121.33.

For the first time in his career, Harrington recorded consecutive bogey-free rounds at Wentworth, and after his final round, he spoke about his performance and his desire to build momentum ahead of a busy period on the PGA Champions Tour.

“You do it sometimes on easier courses but I certainly haven’t put together back to back rounds here bogey free at Wentworth,” Harrington said after the round.

“That’s a nice thing I am seeing some positives in my game and looking forward to getting the best out of myself over the next couple of weeks, have the Dunhill and then four on the Champions Tour.”
