NIALL Morgan says players are going to have to learn fast in the new “manic” version of Gaelic football.

Tyrone star Morgan was between the posts for Ulster in last night’s victory over Munster at Croke Park as the Football Review Committee (FRC) rule changes went on trial.

In the curtain-raiser Connacht hammered Leinster as the interprovincials returned for the first time since 2016.

“We seen from the game earlier how it can get frantic and a little bit manic in our game,” said Morgan. “That’s the word we are using at the minute.

“Players are going to have learn and learn very quickly if this is going to come in.

“It seems they are going in no matter what, so we are going to have to get used to it.

“The game did have to change. There’s no doubt about it. We had to make it a little bit more exciting.

“They were going back to the keeper too much and as players we are going to have to get used to it and that’s the way it is.”
