by Darragh Culhane · Irish MirrorOne lucky punter struck it rich over the weekend, winning nearly €20,000 despite betting on just two Premier League matches.
Bookmaker Paddy Power have admitted they have been left licking their wounds after one punter won just shy of €20,000 despite betting just €12.
One Paddy Power punter placed £10 (€12) and netted a cool £16,400 (€19,700).

The lucky punter placed a six-leg multi-match bet but remarkably only placed bets on Tottenham's 3-0 win over Manchester United and Aston Villa's 2-2 draw with Ipswich.
The bet got off to a fast start with the punter backing Morgan Rogers to score for Aston Villa, which he did after 15 minutes. The punter backed two players to get booked in the game which also came true.
The focus then shifted to a Diago Dalot booking which was ticked off in the first half. Djed Spence's 54th-minute yellow card meant to bet was nearly there for the lucky punter. The bet originally has Destiny Udogie to be booked only for Paddy Power's super sub offer transferring over to Spence.
The final leg of the bet came in when Dominic Solanke scored in the 77th minute after being backed to either score or assist.
Pressure continues to mount on Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag after another defeat for the Red Devils sees them languish in 13th place.
