Taylor defends the super-lightweight world titles she won against Chantelle Cameron last November against her old rival Serrano in the most anticipated rematch in women's boxing history.

The Bray Bomber defeated Serrano via split-decision in an all-time classic at Madison Square Garden in April 2022 and the rematch has been two-and-a-half-years in the making.

However, it takes place at a higher weight as Taylor puts the belts she holds at 140lbs on the line at a catchweight of 138lbs.

But the 2012 Olympic gold medallist doesn't see that being a massive factor against someone who has spent most of her career fighting at featherweight.

"I think we're probably the same size to be honest," Taylor said. "The fight has actually been made at 138, it's a catchweight, but I think if you look at myself and Serrano we're the same size. I could make 126lbs as well if I tried. I don't think she's looked too well at that weight for the last few fights.

"She looks drained for making that weight so I don't know if it's any advantage or not, but I certainly feel good at this weight, I feel strong at this weight."

Taylor comes into the bout confident of beating Serrano once again, telling the Puerto Rican during a head-to-head interview ahead of the fight: "The result is going to be the same. I'm very, very confident. We're both stepping into the ring very confident I'm sure."

She added: "I believe I'm just a better fighter and the best of me always beats the best of Amanda."
