European giants could ‘propose a loan’ for Everton man – Competition heating up ahead of January

Beto was impressive for Udinese in Serie A but has failed to fully replicate his form in the Premier League with Everton.

So far this season, the striker is yet to score in the Premier League, scoring once in the Carabao Cup.

He’s failed to become a regular and came off the bench for Everton in the first four games. In the last three games, he hasn’t even managed to do that.

AS Roma have been credited with interest, and there’s now reportedly interest from one of their Italian rivals.

Quotidiano Sportivo have reported that Juventus are also interested in Beto, with the Bianconeri hoping that the player doesn’t end up at Roma.

The Old Lady want to ‘propose a loan’ in January in the hope of landing the player, who could lift some weight off Dusan Vlahovic’s shoulders this season.

There have been suggestions that Roma could have problems covering the 26-year-old’s wages, even though it’s believed in Italy that he’s already out of Everton’s project.

Whether that hands Juve an advantage in the race remains to be seen.
