Valencia coach Miguel Ángel Angulo has shared his excitement at the prospect of taking on Nottingham Forest in the Premier League International Cup.

Super Deporte cover comments from the coach today ahead of the game tonight at Loughborough.

Valencia’s reserve team travelled to England yesterday to face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening in the second day of the Premier League International Cup, an U21 competition organised by the Premier League.

It sees 16 English teams participate alongside 16 teams from other countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark or Belgium.

Valencia have already seen off Tottenham in a 3-1 win on matchday one and will face Nottingham Forest at Loughborough University Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Nottingham Forest also won their first game, a 2-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb, meaning both sides will be heading into the game looking for a win to help them top the Group A table.

The Spanish side are looking forward to the clash and the difficult it will present to them, something coach Miguel Ángel Angulo was keen to reiterate in his comments ahead of the game.

“We face a team that has players of a great conditional level, that is well ranked in its league, with a good goal balance and that will demand from us,” he said before leaving for the game.

“We are going to try to recover. We will surely make many changes; players will come in who have not accumulated many minutes in the league.

“It is a very good context, a great field and with a great rival in front of us. It’s a great match that makes you want to win and we’re going with that desire.”

Tickets for the match are still on sale at £5 for adults, with cheaper concessions available.
