Anadolu Efes takes down Darussafaka with strong second-half performance

Jordan Nwora and Rolands Smits led the way as Anadolu Efes improved to 3-0 in the domestic championship

Anadolu Efes continued their perfect start in the Turkish League, advancing to a 3-0 record.

Tomislav Mijatovic’s side won the Istanbul derby against Darussafaka 95-72, extending their winning streak in the domestic competition after dominant performance in the second half.

Jordan Nwora led Efes with a strong performance, contributing 19 points and five rebounds. Rolands Smits added 14 points and grabbed seven boards, while Elijah Bryant chipped in with 12 points and four assists. Ercan Osmani also made an impact with 11 points and five rebounds, while Stanley Johnson rounded out the scoring with 10 points.

On the opposing side, Tyree Appleby paced Darussafaka with 22 points, followed by Tres Tinkle with 17 points. Omari Moore added 13 points, and Ege Demir contributed 9 points along with five rebounds.
