On the German side, Tyger Campbell stood out with 22 points, Joel Sadu Aminu added 14, while Jayden Gardner and Brandon Randolph scored 12 each, with Gardner being a rebound shy of a double-double, as Vechta fell to 0-3.

“Defense led to having fun on offense”

Stephen Brown had a great game, highlighted by some attractive dunks and moves, which he credited to great team defense.

We fought, even though the score might make it seem like it was an easy win, but Rasta made it hard for us in the beginning, and in the second half, they went on a run. It was definitely a hard-fought victory from beginning to end. We try to play to our identity as much as possible and be aggressive on the defensive end. A lot of guys stepped up defensively, which led to easy dunks and having fun on the offensive side.”
