Flash floods have hit Barcelona's main airport and the surrounding areas, with videos showing water streaming into the departures hall and pouring from the ceiling.

A red weather alert has been issued for Barcelona following further torrential rain - just days after catastrophic flash floods swept through eastern areas of the country.
