A man has pleaded guilty to killing a father and his five-year-old daughter who died during a house fire more than 12 years ago.

The accused pleaded guilty to manslaughter for both charges.

Mr Justice Tony Hunt said the defendant was a “fortunate man” because he could have been facing a life sentence had Mr Cooper not survived the shooting.
