Woman in hospital after BMW crash on busy country road
by Oscar Fisher · Derbyshire LiveA woman was taken to hospital after a crash involving two vehicles on a main Derbyshire country road. Officers were called to B6407 Common Lane near Pleasley at around 8.40am on Monday (November 4) to reports of a collision.
The road was closed in both directions for more than three hours following the incident, which involved a Ford Ecosport and a BMW. Police say a woman was taken to hospital for treatment, but her injuries are not thought to be serious.
Shortly after the incident, at 9.20am on Monday, Inrix issued a statement saying the road was "partially blocked" as a result of the collision. A spokesperson for the traffic monitoring service said: "B6407 Common Lane is closed in both directions following an accident.
"The road is closed from A617 Chesterfield Road to Meadow Lane, with two cars involved in the incident. The road is partially blocked, with slow traffic building on each end of the closure."
