Sex attack in Birmingham city centre as police issue picture and say 'want to speak to'

West Midlands Police are investigating a sex attack in Birmingham city centre. The force has issued a picture of a man officers want to speak with in connection with the assault.

It follows a woman reported being sexually assaulted, on Corporation Street, just after midnight, on Thursday, August 22. Police are appealing for information and asked anyone who knows the man in the image's whereabouts to contact them on the non-emergency number of 101.

No arrests have been made at this time. Police inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

In a statement, police said today, Thursday, October 24: "We want to speak to this man after a woman was sexually assaulted in Birmingham city centre. It happened in Corporation Street at just after midnight on 22 August.
