Aston arrests after probe into 'suspicious vehicle' as Birmingham police discover Class A drugs

The car was stopped on Freer Road - but when officers approached the car, the driver and passenger attempted to run away at around 1.45pm yesterday, Tuesday, October 29. On their attempt to escape they dropped what's believed to be a quantity of drugs, police said.
The car was searched and suspected Class A drugs were recovered along with a quantity of cash. The vehicle has also been seized. Police said two men, aged 19 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. The older suspect was also arrested on suspicion of obstructing a police officer.
