Man and woman charged after 'police car rammed' in Oldbury

A man and a woman have been charged with a number of offences after a police car was rammed in Oldbury, it has been revealed. Police said the vehicle was hit in Landswood Road shortly before 4pm on Sunday, October 20.

A stash of cocaine and heroin were also recovered, police said. Wayne Greene, 41, of no fixed abode, was charged with several driving offences, possession of drugs with intent to supply, robbery and burglary.

Sharon Deen, 42, from Oldbury, was charged with robbery, burglary and possession of drugs with intent to supply. They were due to appear at Walsall Magistrates' Court today, October 22.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A man and a woman have been charged after a police car was rammed in Oldbury. Wayne Greene, 41, of no fixed abode, has been charged with several driving offences, possession of drugs with intent to supply, robbery and burglary.

"Sharon Deen, 42, from Oldbury, was charged with robbery, burglary and possession of drugs with intent to supply. They have both been remanded in custody to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court today.

"This comes after a police car was rammed in Landswood Road, Oldbury just before 4pm on Sunday. A stash of cocaine and heroin were also recovered. Thankfully, the officers were not injured."
