Flowers left for passenger killed in Dudley tree crash

Flowers have been left at the scene of a fatal crash in Dudley. A passenger was killed when a car collided with a tree in the early hours of Saturday morning (October 19).

Three bouquets have been left at the crash site in Dixons Green Road in memory of the deceased, who has not been officially named. Crash investigators confirmed they had died at the scene.

Police were called shortly after 2am and found the driver with serious injuries. He was arrested before being taken to hospital.

Two men in another car, which was believed to have been involved in the events leading to the collision, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

West Midlands Police said it was keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, and may have dashcam footage of what happened. Those with information were urged to call 101 or email the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at sciu@westmidlands.police.uk, quoting log 369 of 19 October.
