Police appeal as attempted robbery left man with head injury

A man was injured during an attempted robbery in Dudley. The victim suffered a cut to his head during the ordeal.

The incident happened just off Birmingham Road at around 10am on Saturday, October 5. The attacker fled empty-handed.

West Midlands Police has now issued a CCTV image of a man officers wish to speak to. Anyone who recognised him has been urged to get in touch with the force.

A police spokesperson said: "We want to speak to this man after another man was assaulted during an attempted robbery in Dudley.
The victim sustained a cut to his head off Birmingham Road at just before 10am on October 5.

"The attacker fled empty-handed and we're asking for anyone with information to contact us."
