Tropical Storm Rafael forms in Caribbean, on track for U.S. Gulf Coast by Saturday
by UPI Staff · UPINov. 4 (UPI) -- Tropical Storm Rafael has formed in the Caribbean Sea and is most likely headed for the U.S. Gulf Coast later this week, National Hurricane Center forecasters said Tuesday.
In its 7 a.m. update, the National Hurricane Center said Rafael was located about 80 miles south-southwest of Montego Bay, Jamaica and 230 miles southeast of Grand Cayman.
