Woman claim's her former partner held a machete to her face

A man was removed from his ex-partner’s address by gardaí but returned again, it was alleged at a Naas District Court sitting.

“He won’t leave me alone,” the woman told Judge Desmond Zaidan.

She claimed he got into the apartment setting where she lives and was “banging on the door for 45 minutes.”

She added she dialled 999 for the gardaí.

“They came and took him and he came back and I had to call again,”

The woman also alleged he had put a knife to her throat and a machete to her face.

She also said he is on “every type of drug going.”

The man was not present or represented for the hearing.

Judge Desmond Zaidan granted  her an interim protection order. He adjourned the case for a fuller hearing.
