Over the past few days most of Wales has been experiencing heavy downpours and it looks like more is to come over the next few days. A yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office has been in place since 6pm on Tuesday, October 15, and covers nearly all of the country.

Not only does it bring with it heavy rain and strong winds, but is in place for some 27 hours in total with up to 80mm of rainfall hitting the country within hours in parts. You can read more about the warning here.

While the warning comes to an end at 9pm, weather maps show that heavy rain will continue to blight the country throughout the week. However, there could be spells of dry weather in some parts.
