Arrest after girl, 11, allegedly assaulted as she walked her dog by golf club

South Wales Police had appealed for information after a reported incident happened at around 5.30pm on Friday, October 25 on the footpath between Cardiff Golf Club and Pentwyn Road which passes by Glyn Rhosyn in Pontprennau.
A statement from South Wales Police said they had arrested a 31-year-old man from Adamsdown on suspicion off assault upon an 11-year-old girl. For the latest Cardiff news, sign up to our newsletter here.
It added: "A man remains in custody whilst the investigation continues."
