Man, 70s, charged following hit-and-run in Co Fermanagh

A 70-year-old man has been with causing death by dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene after a motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Co Fermanagh.

Richard Maze, 70, died after being struck by a vehicle on the Boa Island Road in Belleek yesterday.

The 70-year-old man was also charged with failing to report an accident whereby injury was caused and failing to stop where accident occurred causing injury.

He due to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday.
