PSNI investigating sudden death of woman in Co Down

Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman in Co Down.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was found dead in a house at Rosepark in Donaghadee at around 7am.

A man, aged in his 50s, has been arrested by the PSNI and remains in custody.

The PSNI are asking anyone who was in the Rosepark area last night or this morning to contact them.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course.
