Rapper Sean 'P Diddy' Combs has been accused drugging people before they were sexual assaulted in his presence, attorney Tony Buzbee said in a press conference - something the music star denies.

The rapper, 54, is facing potential lawsuits from up to 120 people who Buzbee said are planning to sue Diddy over alleged exploitation and sexual abuse, according to the Mirror US. At the press conference on Tuesday, Diddy was accused by Buzbee of using horse tranquilizer to drug alleged victims.

Buzbee claimed one alleged victim who was 15 years old at the time. The lawyer alleged she was "flown to New York City to attend a party" before being drugged and "taken to a private room allegedly in the presence of Mr Combs." He further alleged: "This female individual was raped and then other individuals took turns raping her."

Elsewhere in the press conference, as reported by the outlet, Buzbee claimed a 20-year-old was allegedly invited to attend a party with Diddy in a hotel. The attorney alleged: "She was flattered, went to the party, was given one drink and doesn't remember anything else." Buzbee alleged that she was taken to hospital where doctors "found cocaine and this horse tranquilizer in her blood system."

Speaking about the drugs, Buzbee alleged: "Several of the individuals [were] drug tested and drugs were found in their system." The attorney said that they were "weird drugs, drugs that you probably never heard of." He said: "One in particular that continues to pop up is a drug called Xylazine, or tranq, which based on our research, is known as a horse tranquilizer."

The lawyer said that he now plans to begin filing lawsuits against the rapper over the next 30 days. He said that they will come from both men and women who were aged between nine and 38 at the time of the alleged incidents. The alleged abuse is said to have taken place over a more than 20-year period.

Following the press conference, Diddy's attorney Erica Wolff denied all of the claims against him. She said he "cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus." In a statement, Wolff commented: "That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation." The potential lawsuits come after Diddy was indicted on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied the charges against him and pled not guilty in court.
