Body of man, 21, found as emergency crews descend on scene

Emergency services were called to the Ince area at around 2am yesterday morning (Friday, September 27) after receiving reports of 'concern for the welfare of a man'. Police officers, fire crews and paramedics all responded.
Crews descended on Battersby Street and Petticoat Lane with a cycleway cordoned off for several hours, according to reports. The body was then sadly discovered.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death. No further details about him, other than his age, have been released at this stage.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called to the Coniston Avenue area of Ince after receiving a call expressing concern for the welfare of a man. Sadly that 21-year-old man was later found deceased.”
