Man injured after 'crashing e-bike into parked car'

A man was left injured after he 'crashed his e-bike into a parked car' in Gorton, the Manchester Evening News understands.

Police cars and ambulances blocked residential Hobart Street on Monday evening (October 21) following the collision.

It is understood that a man, whose age has not been confirmed by police, was left injured after the e-bike he was riding was ploughed into a parked car.

Witnesses said there was a 'big police presence' after the incident, with police and ambulance vehicles 'blocking the road' and taping off the area.

The road remained closed for around an hour as emergency crews worked at the scene. It is understood there was nobody in the parked car at the time.

Further details about the nature of the incident or injuries sustained by the bike rider have not been confirmed. Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for a statement.
