Four express train services cancelled due to waterlogging

Due to waterlogging between Basin Bridge and Vyasarpadi railway stations following heavy rain in Chennai on Tuesday, four trains — Sapthagiri Express (16058), which was scheduled to depart from Tirupati at 6.05 p.m.; Yercaud Express (22649), scheduled to depart from Chennai Central at 11 p.m.; Tirupati Express (16203), scheduled to depart at 4.35 p.m.; and Kaveri Express (16021) scheduled to depart at 9.15 p.m. — have been cancelled.
