Man grabbed woman by the throat and sexual assaulted her in Plymouth
by Shannon Brown · PlymouthLiveA man grabbed a woman by the throat before sexually assaulting her in Plymouth, police have said. Devon and Cornwall Police has released an e-fit image in a bid to identify the man responsible.
The attack took place in Ross Street, in Morice Town at between 11pm and midnight on Monday, August 5. A woman was in the street when an unknown man grabbed her by the arm.
He then pushed her against a wall, grabbing her by the throat, before he sexually assaulted her. The woman punched the man and kneed him between the legs, causing him to flee the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police has made a number of enquiries since the investigation began and officers have released an e-fit to appeal to the public for information. Anyone who can aid police is asked to get in contact via calling 101 or on the website using reference number 50240196739.
