Around 4 pm on Friday, October 25, 2024 police rushed to a premises on Drumoyne Road, in the Govan area of Glasgow, after a gun was fired and a 52-year-old man was injured.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, and his condition is described as stable. The incident is believed to be targeted and police are treating the incident as attempted murder.
Officers are now looking to trace three men believed to have travelled to Clydebank.
The men left the area in a dark-coloured Ford Fiesta and travelled onto the A739 to the Clyde Tunnel and out to Cochno Road, Clydebank, using the A82 Great Western Road and Glasgow Road.
The car was later found burnt out in a wooded area near Cochno Road.

Detective Sergeant Laura Roberts said: “We believe they walked through the wooded area near Cochno Road and onto Faifley Road.
“The three men were seen shortly after 5pm, walking south on Faifley Road.
“I am appealing for anyone who was in this area between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Friday, 25 October, 2024 and saw three men acting suspiciously to contact us.
“It is also possible that they were in Drumoyne Road and the Faifley area of Clydebank in the days leading up to this incident.
“This area is popular with walkers, runners and dog-walkers, I am asking anyone who was in this area on Friday afternoon to think back and consider if they saw anything unusual.
“Two of the men were wearing dark clothing and the third was wearing a lighter-blue tracksuit. The were all of medium build and had their hoods up.”
Anyone with CCTV or dashcam from this time is also asked to review it and contact us with anything which may be relevant.
Detective Sergeant Roberts added: “No matter how small it may seem, the information you hold could be key to our investigation.
“We believe this was a targeted incident and there is not thought to be any wider risk to the public.
“As well as enquiries, including door-to-door and CCTV work, extra patrols are also being carried out.
“Anyone with concerns or information can speak to officers, contact Police Scotland via 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 2466 of Friday, 25 October, 2024.”
