Man dies after medical emergency on Ryanair flight

Upon landing, emergency services including an air ambulance, the airport fire service, police, and paramedics were in attendance. The age of the deceased man has not been disclosed, reports the Liverpool Echo.
London Stansted confirmed that a flight was diverted shortly before 8pm due to a medical emergency on board. Medics and the airport fire service quickly attended to the situation surrounding the aircraft, reports the MEN.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson stated: "One ambulance, one Hazardous Area Response Team vehicle, one paramedic car and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Stansted Airport on Sunday evening following reports of man with a medical emergency on an aircraft. Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, the man had died at the scene."
Ryanair has been approached for a statement regarding the incident.
