A woman who climbed over a safety rail and intentionally went over Niagara Falls with her two children — a 9-year-old and five-month-old — on Monday night has been identified by New York state police.

Chianti Means, 33, and her children Roman Rossman, 9, and Mecca Means, 5 months, have not been located after search and rescue efforts, police said Wednesday.

“The investigation has determined that this incident was intentional in nature, though the circumstances remain under investigation,” according to a news release from police.
