Woman critically injured in DVP crash; ramps to Bayview/Bloor reopen

Emergency responders were called to the southbound DVP at the Bayview/Bloor off-ramp around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
It appears a vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into the guardrail.
The woman was initially transported to hospital with serious injuries. Paramedics have since confirmed that her injuries are life-threatening.
Police tell 680 NewsRadio impaired driving is being investigated as a factor in the crash.
As a result of the collision, traffic was blocked on both the northbound and southbound DVP ramps to Bayview/Bloor. The ramps reopened around 10:30 a.m.
