Khanyar gunfight: Terrorist killed, 4 security personnel injured - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 02: A terrorist has been gunned down in the ongoing fierce firefight in Srinagar’s Khanyar, reports said. Earlier, four security personnel including, two from CRPF and two from JK Police’s SOG were injured in the gunfight.

The gunbattle erupted earlier Saturday after security forces sealed the area’s parameters following the inputs about presence of militants there, officials said.

Quoting a senior police official, news agency GNS reported that identity of the killed terrorist is yet to be ascertained and that his body is still under the debris near the encounter site.
