Cyclone Dana Live Updates: Things to know about the impending Cyclone in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The low pressure area has intensified into a depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, confirmed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today as Odisha continues to prepare for brave cyclone ‘Dana’. The IMD also said that it will intensify into a cyclonic storm on Wednesday and then intensify further to make landfall in Odisha-Bengal coast between Puri and Sagar Island on October 24-25. A red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued for the coastal districts of Odisha, including Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, and Bhadrak.
