Rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs is facing fresh legal trouble as a new lawsuit has been filed against him, accusing the rapper of sexual assault and gang rape. The lawsuit, brought by a woman identified as Ashley Parham, claims that Combs assaulted her with a remote control and orchestrated a gang rape with his associates. Parham further alleged that Combs threatened her life, referencing the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur and stating that he had "gotten away with worse crimes."

Combs is currently incarcerated, awaiting trial in May 2025 on unrelated sex crime charges.

In legal documents filed in California on Tuesday, Parham claimed that she first came into contact with Combs in 2018 after meeting one of his friends at a bar. The friend, allegedly trying to impress others, made a video call to Combs. Parham refused to participate in the call, stating her belief that Combs had "something to do with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur." According to the lawsuit, Combs overheard her remark and warned that she would "pay" for it.

A month later, Parham said the friend invited her to his home under the pretext of needing help with his cancer medication. During the visit, Combs allegedly arrived unexpectedly. Parham claimed that Combs threatened her with a knife, holding it to her face and stating he would give her a "Glasgow smile" in retaliation for her earlier comments.

The lawsuit further details how Combs allegedly assaulted Parham by raping her with a television remote control, before several others joined in the attack. She claimed that during the ordeal, Combs told her that her life was in his hands and that, if he wished, she would never be seen again. Parham says she lost control of her body during the assault and was unable to move.

After the attack, Parham alleged that Combs offered her money to claim the rape was consensual. She fled to a neighbour’s house, where gunshots were reportedly fired in her direction. The neighbours had already contacted the police after hearing the disturbance, according to the legal filing.

Parham reported the incident to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department, stating she had been gang raped by Combs and his associates. However, she claims no further action was taken by the authorities. It was only three weeks later, after seeking medical attention, that hospital staff called local police, but Parham asserted that neither of her reports led to an investigation.

Ashley Parham recently sued Combs and six others for sexual assault and battery, false imprisonment, abuse, and kidnapping. She is demanding a jury trial in pursuit of justice for the alleged crimes.
