Congress MP's son hospitalised in Mumbai after arrest in road rage case

Ganesh Handore, son of senior Congress leader Chandrakant Handore, was hospitalised at Mumbai's JJ Hospital due to a spike in blood sugar levels following his arrest in a road rage case.

Ganesh Handore, son of senior Congress leader and Maharashtra MP Chandrakant Handore, was arrested by Mumbai Police on Saturday after his car hit a pedestrian who was walking along the road.

The incident took place in the Govandi suburb of Chembur when the victim, identified as Gopal Aarote, was walking on the road and suddenly Ganesh Hondore's car rammed him from behind.

Aarote sustained head injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. His condition is reported to be stable as he continues to receive treatment.

Ganesh Handore was arrested soon after the incident. However, shortly after his arrest, Ganesh experienced a sudden spike in his blood sugar levels due to an underlying medical condition. As a result, he was admitted to JJ Hospital for further medical care.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case against Ganesh Handore under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita and Motor Vehicles Act.

Further probe into the matter is underway.
