Man due in court charged in connection with alleged serious assault in Kerry

The incident happened at a premises on Church Street in Tralee on Sunday afternoon.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene and a man, aged in his 30s, was taken to University Hospital Kerry to be treated for injuries believed to be serious but non-life threatening.

Another man, aged in his 20s, was arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in Kerry.
The man has since been charged and is due to appear before Killarney District Court on Tuesday morning (November 12) at 10.30am.
In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
