Gardaí arrested a man and seized fireworks, cocaine, cannabis and drug paraphernalia in a raid in Dublin.

As part of ongoing investigations targeting street-level criminal activity in the north Dublin area, Gardaí from the Drugs Unit based at Coolock Garda Station searched a residential property in Priorswood under warrant on Wednesday, October 23.

During the search, Gardaí discovered cocaine valued at over €30,000, cannabis worth €1,500 (analysis pending) and cash totalling €1,550.

A significant quantity of fireworks was also seized, along with drug paraphernalia, including scales, deal bags and various chemical agents.

A 20-year-old male was arrested at the scene and is detained at a Garda station in the Dublin Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has been charged and is set to appear before Dublin District Court next month.

Gardaí confirmed the drugs seized will be forwarded to FSI for analysis and that investigations are ongoing.
