Tributes paid to 'beautiful young man' who died after alleged assault while on holiday in Spain

Adam Walsh, from Tivoli Heights in Clonmel, was on holiday in Malaga with his girlfriend Leah when the incident occurred in mid-October.
Adam was rushed to hospital following the incident where he was placed on life support. However, the truck driver sadly passed away on Saturday, October 19, surrounded by his loved ones.

Adam helped save the lives of five other people by donating his organs. The Tipperary native's funeral was held on Tuesday (October 29) in S.S Peter & Paul’s Church in Clonmel, with mourners urged to wear bright colours "as Adam thrived off his bright colours".
Adam was a member of Clonmel Commercials GFC in his youth, with the gaelic football club paying tribute to the the popular young man.
"The club extends its sincere condolences to the Walsh family upon the sudden and tragic loss of their son Adam," they said in a statement. "Adam, a former player with the club will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as this hard time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a Anam."
A number of Adam's friends and family have also shared tributes, with a family friend writing: "Adam was the most beautiful young man you could ever meet. We were lucky to have known him. Audrey, Alan, Jamie, Scott and Leah we cannot imagine your pain but know he is the brightest light and will always shine."
Another mourner said: "Adam was such a generous lad, ready to lend a hand at the drop of a hat, which he always did with a smile and a joke. His loss is incalculable. Yet, his departure from this world was marked with a wonderful legacy to some other families by his life-changing organ donation."
A friend of Adam's said: "Adam was a lovely young fella who I used to meet regularly down in Clonmel swimming pool many a laugh and a chat we had down there he will be sadly missed and a big loss. Keep lifting those weights up there in heaven boy."
Another friend shared a heartwarming story of Adam's generosity, hailing him as a 'kind and caring boy'. "I have very fond memories of Adam as a young lad and watched as he grew up into a young man," they said.
"I always remember him as a kind and caring boy with a cheeky grin and a sparkle in his eyes. I have one particular memory where he went out of his way many years ago when he was still a teenager to help me find my lost cat in the neighborhood. He was so like you Audrey with his sense of community spirit and a need to help others. We are thinking of you Audrey, Alan, Scott and Jamie. Our hearts are broken"
