Pedestrian suffers 'life-changing injuries' in crash in Broadclyst

A man suffered potentially life-changing injuries in a crash in Broadclyst this morning, Wednesday, October 23. Police were called to the B3181, near the Broadclyst Stores and Post Office, at around 7.35am.

The crash involved a car and a pedestrian. Police said a man was rushed to hospital and the road has been closed in both directions for an investigation to take place.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the B3181 at Broadclyst at around 7.35am today, Wednesday 23 October.

"A man sustained potentially life changing injuries and has been taken to hospital. A road closure has been put in place while emergency services deal with the scene. The incident is ongoing."
