North Yorkshire Police have issued a fresh appeal, sharing a new photograph of the missing Yorkshire mum, Victoria Taylor, as the search enters its second week.

The force this afternoon confirmed their ongoing efforts to locate the 34 year old who was last seen a week ago. Victoria departed from her Malton home at 9am on Monday, September 30, and was later captured on CCTV at 11.35am at the BP garage on Welham Road in Norton, Malton.

Further confirming a sighting, police have disclosed that Victoria was spotted on CCTV at 11.53am on Monday (September 30) at Malton Bus Station on Railway Street, marking the most recent confirmed location of the missing woman.

The released image depicts Victoria wearing a black Adidas puffer jacket with stripes down the sides, blue jeans, a camouflage cap, and carrying a pink/salmon Vans backpack. Additionally, she appears to be holding an item resembling a carrier bag.

Police have been conducting extensive enquiries over the past week, including reviewing CCTV footage, analysing passive data, and interviewing witnesses, in their efforts to find the mother-of-one. They've also searched significant land and water areas, reports Yorkshire Live.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson stated: "We remain open minded and, whilst the investigation of Victoria's movements has been thorough, we will continue to pursue existing and new lines of enquiry."

North Yorkshire Police have conveyed their current stance following extensive enquiries into Victoria's disappearance, affirming that "Based on information obtained from these exhaustive enquiries, North Yorkshire Police is satisfied at the current time that there is no information to suggest any form of third-party involvement following the disappearance of Victoria and this remains a missing person case."

A collection of Victoria's belongings including her jacket, cap, handbag and the "bottles of pop" she had bought from the neighbourhood BP station were discovered in proximity to the River Derwent last Tuesday (October 1). The find spurred a comprehensive police search of both the river and the nearby landscape, a pursuit they assert will persist in the upcoming days.

Inspector Martin Dennison from North Yorkshire Police has spoken out regarding the situation: "This is an extremely difficult time for Victoria's family, and we are continuing to do all we can to try and find her. The focus of our search remains the area around the River Derwent and Victoria's family members are aware of this and the wider strategy that is in place."

Dennison also commented on the community's solidarity expressed through their involvement in the search efforts for Victoria: "The family and the police understand the local community wanting to show their support with the searches for Victoria, but we urge people to exercise caution when searching particularly near to the river."
