Michael Sheen announces girlfriend pregnant with their second child

The couple are expecting their second child together

Michael Sheen has revealed his girlfriend is pregnant with their second child.

The Frost/Nixon actor, 53, posted a picture of girlfriend Anna Lundberg's growing bump on Twitter with the caption: "…..it appears there may be another on the way!"

The photo shows three sets of hands - Michael's, Anna's and their daughter's - resting gently on Anna's tummy.

The couple shocked fans when they announced Anna's first pregnancy in July 2019, just two months after they were first romantically linked.

Lyra Sheen was born in Swansea in September 2019 and Michael described her first week as "a wonderful, bleary-eyed week full of love and kindness and extraordinary poo".

The Welsh actor already has 23-year-old daughter Lily Mo Sheen with his ex Kate Beckinsale, 48.

Michael celebrated his 53rd birthday on February 5. Some of his most notable roles include his portrayal of Brian Clough in 2009's The Damned United, David Frost in Frost/Nixon, politician Tony Blair in The Deal and Chris Tarrant in 2020's Quiz.

His fans were quick to congratulate him and Anna, 28, with one saying: "What wonderful news - many congratulations to you all! I hope things are progressing nicely with the pregnancy and Ms. Lundberg is in good health."
