Here’s How You Can Be a Part of Season 2 of ‘1923’

· NewsTalk 1290

Filming for Season 2 of the Paramount+ series 1923 is officially underway, and you can be a part of all the fun!

A company called Legacy Casting recently shared a post online seeking extras for the second installment of Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone prequel. The show is currently filming in San Antonio, Texas, and they're looking to fill up some scenes with background actors.

"1923 Season 2 is still seeking background actors to work in San Antonio on Monday 09/23. If you're interested in working with us on that day (please note it will be a full 12+ hour shoot likely starting really early in the morning, my guess would be 5AM ish)," a post on social media reads.

It's unclear if any of the show's stars like Hellen Mirren and Harrison Ford will be on set while filming these scenes.

When Is 1923 Coming Back?

There were several rumors swirling about 1923 being canceled after Season 1, but this casting call makes it clear that the show is planning on returning. It's likely this next batch of episodes will premiere in early 2025, following the conclusion of Yellowstone Season 5.

Sheridan initially launched the prequel series with the intention of only doing two seasons, so don't expect a Season 3. He's likely to keep to his word after only delivering one season of 1883, as he said he would.

What Is Legacy Casting?

Legacy Casting is a casting company that specializes in extras, stand ins, doubles and background talent. In addition to working with 1923, their website says they are also casting in Bozeman, Mont., for Sheridan's next Yellowstone spinoff — a sequel titled The Madison.
