Dick Strawbridge has admitted a worry for daughter Dorothy over her behaviour - and admitted he blames wife Angel Adoree. Channel 4 Escape to the Chateau star Dick is currently on a stage tour with his wife and two youngest children.

He and Angel share two children Arthur, 11, and Dorothy, 10, and Dick has eldest daughter Charlotte, 38, and son James, 40, from a previous marriage. After reuniting with Charlotte during their UK tour, Dick described the reunion with his eldest daughter as "lovely".

But he admits he was "worried" at Dorothy exhibiting similar behaviour to her older half-sister. He explained: "She used to live in Edinburgh. She's moved out now, she lives near Stirling as you know now, so she came to see us! She came to join us for the day.

"I got a big daddy hug from my girl and then we sort of had the day together. Three-fourths of my progeny was with us and do you know what? It was a lovely, lovely day." He revealed: "I'm really worried that Dorothy and Charlotte have got so many common traits."

Angel replied: "I don't know whether I should say anything or stay silent." Dick said: "I've got to tell you, they both like to be in charge." Angel laughed: "Yep." He continued: "I always blamed you for Dorothy liking to be in charge!"

Angel said: "I'm glad you're saying some of this... Actually in the morning - I've been a little bit under the weather. I was poorly a long time ago. In fact, we all were weeks before we came on tour and I was trying to get rid of this cough.

"And the hotel we stayed in for the first time, I had a chance to go to the steam room. I thought it'd be really useful for me to do that. You had like an hour while you went off and I had a steam and then came and met you.

"And I'm really glad you had that time because I feel like you had an epiphany." Dick said: "It's interesting to say! My girls, you know, I love the fact that they're strong and they're powerful and they're good. It's good to see them empowered."

Angel said: "The thing is though I have actually said this to you before. When you blame me for Dorothy being bossy and always wanting to be in charge etc. I do say, 'Well, I'll think that you're beautiful eldest daughter is very similar'.

"The two of them are very similar. Also, the fact that they are both obsessed with sushi!"
