ITV Loose Women star interrupts show and owns up to 'infidelities'
by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LiveITV Loose Women star Denise Welch has opened up to "infidelities." The ITV star made the brave admission on the panel show, which airs daily from 12.30pm, while appearing alongside fellow panellists Kaye Adams, Olivia Attwood and Nadia Sawalha on Thursday (October 31).
Coronation Street alum has always been open and honest when it comes to her past affairs - having met her current husband Lincoln Townley while she married. During the chat, Denise admitted "it was no secret" that she'd been unfaithful in the past.
The former BBC Waterloo Road and Channel 4 Hollyoaks star Denise said: "I do agree that there are double standards, however when I admitted to my own infidelities I was treated like the wicked witch of the west, certainly by the media and probably quite rightly so."

Celebrity Big Brother alum Denise previously opened up on the breakdown of her marriage to Tim Healy, saying: "My husband and I both agree we held on far too long and we were making each other miserable and thankfully we've now got a great friendship.
"I genuinely used to think that being unfaithful wasn't the worst thing you could do in a relationship. There were infidelities on both sides… which you girls know about." Tim and Denise were married from 1988 to 2012, and together have two sons – 1975 frontman Matt Healy, 31, and 19-year-old actor Louis.
On a 2020 edition of Loose Women, a throwback clip was aired of Denise confessing to ‘going behind the bikesheds’ with other men during their relationship. In a tweet that’s since been deleted, Tim furiously wrote: "Just watched yesterday’s Loose Women.
"Denise in her day was talking about how it was ok to have casual sex behind the bike shed even though married." Tim said: "Day after day year on year she discussed our private life. Long suffering Tim Healy I am no more xx."
Loose Women airs on ITV1, from 12:30pm, weekdays.
