The 'pretty' £37 blouse fashionistas were 'surprised was from Marks & Spencer'

A 'pretty' and 'very flattering' sequined blouse was said to be suitable for a 'special evening' or 'dressed down with jeans'. One shopper said the Sequin Round Neck Blouse was 'much admired' at a fashion exhibition and 'everyone was surprised it was from M&S'.

Marks & Spencer said the "glamorous" blouse was a "dazzling way to make a statement". The retailer said the long-sleeved top would add "sparkle to any occasion" with its all-over sequin design.

The Sequin Round Neck Blouse comes in sizes six to 24, with petite and regular fits available. Shoppers also have two colours to choose from, grey blue or champagne.

Poppy said the Sequin Round Neck Blouse was "really flattering and pretty" adding: "Great quality and sizing. I put over a summer strappy dress for winter wear." A four-star review read: "I like the boxy shape of this top. It looks good with a slim skirt or trousers. I bought it for when we go dancing."

Summer said the Sequin Round Neck Blouse was "luxurious", adding: "The material is quite soft, the sequins add to this very stylish top, which can be worn for a special evening, or dressed down with jeans."

Kylie wrote: "I love this sparkly blouse, in the very pretty pale blue. Perfect for Christmas party time or special occasions. I tried several sizes before settling on 6 petite and found this best for my 5'2 smallish frame. The sleeves fit well and the length is good - not 'boxy' as some reviewers have said. Also I don't find the material scratchy."

A five-star reviewer said: "I love this top, it’s so light and easy to wear and so pretty. I wore it to the opening of a fashion exhibition last week and it was much admired and everyone was surprised that it was from M&S."

However not everyone was a fan of the Sequin Round Neck Blouse - a two star review read: "Odd shape. Too big and too wide. Sleeves wont lie flat at seam. Tried next size down with no improvement with fit."
